Mikey Snot Is Great
Basement

August 4, 2007 - Buzz Fugazi

In a world of no respect, 1989, we were a summary of the '80s. It was a time of crass political manipulation and for one brief overlooked moment, we owned the cutting edge. Punk rock as journalism. The start of the new school-old school dialogue and part of a larger spontaneous youth movement saying hell no! Sometimes, like in China and the inner cities of America, the protest had grave consequences. Somehow, the more stubborn and cautious among us survived and watched the Progressive Movement and a diverse broad coalition make one last stab at authenticity before selling out to become your new bosses. Forget recycling. Let's try not wasting resources in the first place. You wanna know what's important, let's nominate the most hateful, child-molesting clergy from all the faiths to promote racial war and tell the rest of us sinners what's important. As for bleeding heart liberal or any other wussie variety of clergy, they can be executed while they perform mass, raped and killed by freedom fighters in the woods, ignored, ridiculed, shipped off with the Jews since they're so damned concerned about them, executed alongside the peasants since they're so damned concerned about them. Suicide. Gone mad from the ignored horrors of Africa. Gone native and gone euphoric from the pure mesmerizing beauty of Africa. Took up alcohol and philosophy and wrote something for me to share with everyone...

Our truth is more useful. Our lies are more fun.
